Opening the show with two Doors songs - and one actually BY The Doors - two songs pitched to The Grass Roots (though they only chose one), a Randy Newman classic that got a single release but didn't chart, a one hit wonder I've never played before, and a "songs you know, done by somebody else" segment with B.W. Stevenson's first charting version of "Shambala" and Eric Carmen's original take on one of Shaun Cassidy's three big hits. And the REALLY rare appearance on the program of Rodney Crowell!
