Decided to make the program a bit more "contemporary" this week, as it's an all mid '70s to mid '80s edition. And that decision was pretty much determined by an out-of-state online listener who suggested playing Tommy Shaw and Dennis DeYoung back-to-back, and maybe playing a few more tracks that got into the mid '80s, as he was a WLS-Chicago listener, and they didn't switch out of their top 40 format until (according to him) 1987. And by the way, there was SUPPOSED to be a 1983 NBC promo for "Cheers" leading into segment four, but in a rush to finish the program up by Monday evening, I forgot to add it! So the segment begins cold, going into the Christopher Cross song. Oops. Sorry. Hope you like the deviation from the norm.
